Deputies with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department arrested three Kenosha men suspected of stealing scrap metal from Racine Metal Fab, 1520 Grand View Parkway, Wednesday morning.

While on patrol at 2:30 a.m., a deputy with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department saw a car parked near several scrap metal containers.

The deputy ordered the three men inside the car to stop, but the driver sped away. Soon after the confrontation, he made contact with the men. Finding the metal inside the car, the deputy arrested all three men for theft and other criminal charges.

They were:

  • Jeremy D. Debartelo, 37
  • Timothy A. Debartelo, 34
  • Erik M. Pelt, 34

They are being held at the Racine County Jail.
