More severe thunderstorms may be headed our way as the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch in Racine County for Monday afternoon and evening.

The severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m. Monday, July 13. Hail, strong winds and a tornado are also possible, according to the National Weather Service.

The current temperature is 85 with a heat index at 89 degrees.
