A 38-year-old Racine man faces two felony counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13.

Each of the charges filed Monday in Racine County Circuit Court against Randy L. Harrington carries a prison term of 60 years.

According to the criminal complaint:
An investigator with the Racine Police Department conducted an investigation of a sexual assault that occurred between the end of the school year and July 24.

A 9-year-old female told police that Harrington had touched her more than one time in a garage at 2205 Kentucky St. The girl stated the two were watching a movie when the defendant touched her over her clothes and that it made her feel uncomfortable. The girl also stated there was another occurrence when Harrington touched her under her clothes.

Harrington did not admit to any touching and stated that he was never alone with the female.

The investigator also stated in the complaint that another girl reported being touched by Harrington but did not wish to prosecute.
