A man is facing drug charges after a deputy found over 200 vials of liquid marijuana in his car during a traffic stop Saturday morning.
Kenny Rua, 22, of Kenosha, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also received a number of traffic citations.
According to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy stopped Rua on Interstate 94 and State Highway 11 for speeding and having heavily tinted windows.
During the traffic stop, Sheriff K-9 Friday signaled the presence of illegal drugs in the car. The deputy conducted a search of the car and found 206 vials of liquid marijuana, which has an estimated street value of over $6,000.
