Nonprofit Mission and Vision Statements
Compelled by the love of Christ, Shoreland Lutheran High School exists to EDUCATE, EQUIP, and ENCOURAGE students for lives of Christian service.
Our mission statement exemplifies itself in all that we do in the areas of Christian training, daily worship life, academics, social skills, athletics, and the fine arts. Shoreland Lutheran High School assists our families by challenging students to become life-long students of God’s Word so that the Holy Spirit can strengthen their faith, knowledge, and devotion.
We recognize the relationship between the things of this world and the grace of God in every area of the curriculum. We prepare our students to strive for excellence in every aspect of their lives as a way to thank God for His grace; to recognize their unique identity as God’s children, stewards, and witnesses in an increasingly non-Christian world; to recognize their particular calling, vocation or career as a blessed way in which they are privileged to serve God and their neighbor; and to recognize the Christian family and congregation as special places for excelling in spiritual activity, godly commitment, and loving service.
Our vision is for Shoreland Lutheran High School to be the premier faith-based school located between Milwaukee and Chicago. We will achieve this by continuing to serve our federation congregations and schools, as well as pursuing other opportunities for enrollment growth that God is placing before us. We will serve all our students by building on the educational excellence that has existed for more than 40 years, allowing both Christian education and quality education to be available to parents and students
Please provide a paragraph or so about what your organization does in the community. Include any recent achievements, projects, and goals.
Just one of the many student service opportunities provided, Shoreland teams with the Tim Tebow Foundation for Night To Shine. Shoreland was the first high school to host the Tim Tebow sponsored prom for people with special needs. Next February will be our 4th Night To Shine. We have observed the experience for Shoreland students has created a deep understanding of the guests who attend and an opportunity to create lasting friendships.

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education. If this is important to you, please consider donating to our education reporting fund. https://business.facebook.com/donate/1846323118855149/3262802717172659/
