Just over $12 million in property changed hands between Oct. 10 through Oct. 14, according to the Racine County property transfer records.

Real Estate Highlights

  • Waukesha-based Highway 20 LLC, the developer for a gas station that was recently constructed, sold 13330 Washington Avenue to LaCrosse-based Kwik Trip Inc. for $1.44 million. The gas station opened on Sept. 29.
  • Milwaukee Center for Independence, which merged with Transitional Living Services, sold a multi-family unit at 3710 Douglas Avenue to Milwaukee-based TIRBA LLC for $250,000. The property is expected to be opened in phases under the name of Belle City Manor. The first phase, which opened Oct. 15, includes studio apartments. The second phase, which requires city approval, is expected to be opened the first quarter of 2017. The third phase is expected to be completed in 2017.
  • Paul and Nancy Parco sold the former Taylor Avenue Furniture building at 1973 Taylor Avenue to Miguel Veguilla on a land contract for $40,000.
