Solid waste and recycling collections are canceled on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 due to the forecasted extreme weather conditions. The National Weather Service issued a Wind Chill Warning for Wednesday and the conditions are risky and unfit for workers to collect waste. City residents will have their collections picked up on Feb 6.

Excess solid waste must follow these guidelines: must be bagged in heavy-duty, puncture-resistant trash can liners, securely closed with tape or cable ties, and placed next to the carts.

“Green” and “Gold” Wednesday recycling collections will also be picked up on February 6.
