Break out the green apparel, the Downtown Racine St. Patrick’s Day Parade will step off at noon on Saturday.

The parade route starts at State and Main Street. It will proceed south down Main and turn west onto Sixth Street, then end at City Hall.

“This parade kicks off the start to spring in downtown Racine and we are excited to be able to offer this to our community for 12 years running,” said Kelly Kruse, Executive Director, Downtown Racine Corporation.

Organizers have the day filled with fun, however.

“Come early to reserve your parade viewing spot and take a stroll through the streets of downtown. Grab a bite to eat or grab a warm drink. Don’t want to fight the crowds after the parade? Stay for dinner or a drink! Several downtown restaurants and bars will be featuring St. Patrick’s Day specials and activities,” the press release reads.

The parade sponsors are: Gruber Law Offices, Joey’s West, Pearle Vision, Ivanhoe Pub and Eatery, Community State
Bank, Gendlin, Liverman and Rymer, Korndoerfer Homes, Dewey’s, Racine Riverside Marine, Central Payment, Building Waters, Harbor Lite Yacht Club, Salute, Third Coast Wood Fire Pizza and Pub, Uncorkt, Educators Credit Union, Blue Rock Lounge, Sugar Shack Sweet Shop, and Divino Gelato.
