The exhibit will at a the bank, 5723 Durand Avenue, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a veteran and a volunteer will be at there to answer questions and talk about the exhibit.
Additionally, North Shore until Oct. 23 is collecting worn and tattered flags. They’re working with Boy Scouts and the American Legion to respectfully dispose of these flags during a special ceremony on Veterans Day next month.
The bank will donate $1 to the Honor Flight for each flag, up to $1.500. Donations are also being accepted from the general public to help send even more veterans to Washington, D.C., so they can visit the World War II and Korean War memorials.
