Sticky Rice Moving to New Monument Square Digs

Sticky Rice regulars may have been alarmed if they visited the restaurant in the last couple of weeks and found it closed, but the eatery is expected to reopen soon in a new location.

The Khampane family closed its Main Street location on Nov. 1, a story in The Journal Times reads, and plans to open its new doors at 205-207 6th Street sometime next week.

Instead of renting space, a family member bought the 6th Street building so the family is moving Sticky Rice, the story continues. This is the restaurant’s third downtown location after opening in 2005.
