Three men and one woman are facing charges after officers with the Mount Pleasant Police Department found stolen guns and property in their car during a traffic stop. Officers stopped the car at 11:20 p.m. Saturday night in the 2300 block of Howe Street. They smelled the odor of narcotics coming from inside the car. During the investigation, one of the four people gave police a false name. Once police learned the man’s identity, all four were detained. Two men had active arrest warrants and two were out on probation. When police searched the car, they found two stolen handguns that were taken during a burglary in Burlington. All four were arrested and taken to the Mount Pleasant Police Department. Police have filed charges against the following people:
  • Jordan T. Cummings, 27, of Racine: Felony probation violation, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of stolen property.
  • Brandon Lee, 29, of Racine: Felony probation violation, two active warrants out of Racine County, obstructing the Police, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, and Possession of Stolen Property (Party to Crime).
  • Joe A. Culberson, 31, Racine: Active warrant out of Racine County, possession of stolen property (party to crime), and carrying a concealed weapon.
  • Tatianna M. Culberson, 25, of Racine: Possession of stolen property (party to crime), and possession of prescription medicine (non-narcotic).
Formal charges by the Racine County District have not been issued.
