Two Racine County villages have been named to a list of the state’s safest and most peaceful communities.
Onlyinmystate.com compiled a first top 10 list last week but realized Saturday that Wisconsin has additional places that deserve to be listed so a second list was issued featuring Sturtevant at #2 and Caledonia at #9.
“Location, location, location. You’re just 30 minutes from Milwaukee and 60 minutes from Chicago. But you get a safe community with all the charm Wisconsin is known for. The community is strong, with law enforcement working with the community to prevent crime.”
“Caledonia has two personalities–one more urban, with a nice downtown and then the rural side where you can be pretty far away from your neighbor. But what’s great about this is that, whether you choose the urban or rural life, you’ll be plenty safe with the awesome law enforcement of Caledonia.”
