A Sturtevant police officer is okay Saturday after being struck by a driver SPD says was drunk.
The officer was struck at 10:36 p.m. Friday by a vehicle traveling south on Highway H just north of Braun Road. They were taken by ambulance to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary’s and treated for minor injuries before being released.
The driver of the vehicle was not hurt but was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated.
Wisconsin State Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
