Mark your calendars for one of the most popular community events of the year: the annual Sturtevant Santa Dinner that helps support various community events and funding for village parks.

In addition to a delicious mostaccioli dinner – including Italian bread, salad and cookies for dessert – there will be music, a basket raffle, holiday crafts and, of course, plenty of time to visit with Santa.

The dinner runs from 4 to 7:30 Saturday, Dec. 5 at Sturtevant Village Hall, 2801 89th Street. Tickets are $7 for adults; $5 for kids ages 3 to 12; and free for children two and under.

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education. If this is important to you, please consider donating to our education reporting fund.
