Your contribution is appreciated.

If you recognize this bird, it’s been hanging around a residence just west of the Racine Zoo, but east of Douglas. The owner of the home noticed that the bird has an orange band around its leg, and it flew into their garage.
So if it’s your bird, feel free to contact Melissa Scott on our Racine County Eye Facebook page in the comments section.
We’re also going to check in with the Racine Zoo to see if it might be their bird.

Love what we do?

In addition to our education features, we’ll be kicking off a series of stories highlighting how parents, students, and educators are adapting to the impact of COVID-19 on education. If this is important to you, please consider donating to our education reporting fund. https://business.facebook.com/donate/1846323118855149/3262802717172659/
