Here’s your chance! The Color Run Dream Tour lets you sprint, jog or walk through five kilometers of rainbow clouds. This family friendly fun 5k returns to Racine for the sixth time on Saturday, Sept. 16 in its ONLY Wisconsin appearance.

The fun gets started at 9 a.m. on Pershing Drive along Racine’s lakefront. The festival and start/finish line area will be in the Gateway Technical College (GTC) parking lot behind 1001 S. Main St.

This year’s Dream Tour theme features giant unicorns, great new photo ops and radiant new colors. For the first time ever, The Color Runners will be transported a whimsical fog Dream Tunnel to start their adventure. The course, through the streets of Racine, features the classic Color Zones and a new Foam Zone where they experience dreamy colored foam, or clouds, as they run through the most colorful dream of all.

In another new addition, participants can spray their dreams on the Dream Wall to be seen by all. After crossing the finish line, The Color Runners enjoy the Finish Festival to party with the Runicorn mascot and join in massive color throws every few minutes.

Each runner will receive a limited-edition Dream Tour race shirt, Unicorn Finisher;’s Medal, headband, fun temporary tattoos and a runner’s bib to decorate.

Hosted locally by Real Racine, The Color Run is the largest event series in the world. Its number one goal is to produce “The Happiest 5k on the Planet.”
