The Rush Coffee & Juice Bar, 321 Main St., opened their doors a few weeks ago with the purpose of serving up great coffee and fresh juices in a fun atmosphere.

In addition to the drinks, owner Heidi Linden also sells everything from protein bars to muffins. Here’s why she opened the business and what you can expect.

“Just an awesome place in trendy downtown Racine, WI, along Lake Michigan. Come for the juice and stay for the trivia, or stop in for the coffee and take in the ambiance either way you’re gonna need the Rush,” according to the business’ Facebook page.

Why did you start your business? We love people, juicing, coffee and downtown Racine… thought we’d put it all in one and venture out into a new biz!

What makes it special? We’re the only fresh juice bar in Racine, and we also feature Milwaukee’s Pilcrow Coffee, which was voted #1 Espresso and #1 Cold Brew (NITRO) in the Nation at Coffeefest. Add to all that.. a fun atmosphere and we’re a beverage bar that also serves a great hang-out!

Why did you choose your place? Downtown Racine really needed a place for people to go to get drinks and hang out. The Lakefront is such a great place with so much to offer, and we thought The Rush would be a neat addition to the awesome shops downtown.

What can your clients/customers expect when they come to your business? Fresh, healthy juices, delicious and rich coffee, tasty smoothies, fun music, and friendly people in a comfortable atmosphere. We want to be a home-away-from-home.
