MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. – A toddler suffered non-life threatening injuries after he fell from a second-story window Wednesday evening in the 1300 block of Oakes Road.
The boy had crawled on top of some living room furniture, pushed out a screen and fell through an open window, according to a press release by the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
Rescue personnel from the South Shore Fire Department took the boy to Ascension-All Saints Hospital but then transferred him to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
Officials with the Mount Pleasant Police Department are still investigating the incident.
