UPDATE: The Totally 80s Party with Bret Michaels event has been cancelled, but will be rescheduled sometime in November, according to the Journal Times.

ORIGINAL STORY: Celebrate all the amazing parts of the 80s – hair bands, big hair, neon colors and Members Only jackets – with a special 80s event and concert.

Sponsored by Real Racine, this Totally 80s party kicks off in the parking lot of the Real Racine Visitor Center and continues at the Route 20 Outhouse next door when Poison frontman Bret Michaels takes the stage.

Don’t wait! Only a few hundred tickets available.

Here’s the full into from Real Racine:

Get ready to party like it’s 1985! The Totally 80s Party and Bret Michaels private concert is coming Sunday, June 29.

Real Racine is putting on an awesome party in the Visitor Center parking lot, 14015 Washington Ave. (Highway 20) starting at 4 p.m. Get down with DJ Paul Kloiber and wear your best ’80s clothing for the costume contest (don’t forget the Spandex!) Food and beverages will be available. Free admission.

Then, at 8 p.m. Bret Michaels, former Poison frontman, takes the stage at the Route 20 Outhouse right next door. Tickets, including all fees, are $45 (general admission) or $55 (mezzanine). They are available starting THIS Saturday (June 14) at the Visitor Center or by phone at 262-884-6400 or toll-free at 1-800-CRACINE. The Visitor Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Totally 80s Party replaces the Totally RAD 80s Run, which has been canceled because of low participation.
