Valerin V. “Buzz” Kardack, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 25th at the Hospice Alliance Hospice House in Kenosha.  Valerin was born in Racine on October 8, 1932, and was the son of the late Stanley and Jane (Nee:  Harsma) Kardack.

Val proudly served in the United States Army as a weapons specialist.  Valerin was employed by J.I. Case Company for more than thirty years.  He was a member of the Racine Moose Lodge #437 and the Wisconsin Trappers Organization.  Above all he cherished time outdoors.

He is survived by his daughters, Cassi L. Hoffmann of Burlington and Valerie Heth of Elkhorn; a granddaughter, Monica Jean Schwarm of Chicago and a sister, Janet (Dale) Davis of Merrilan; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Ruetz and a son-in-law, Steve Heth.

A Private Memorial Service was held.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
