Wanda J. Vorlob, 77, passed away on Friday, September 29th in Harrah, Oklahoma. She was born in Crandon, Wisconsin on May 28, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Maynard and Mattie (Nee: Gilbert) Chaney. Wanda was a longtime resident of Racine.
On December 15, 1981, she was united in marriage to Richard C. Vorlob who preceded her in death on November 6, 1995. Wanda was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting, puzzles, plants and bingo. Above all it was time spent with her family that she treasured most. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children, Bud Taulbee, Bryan Taulbee, Anita (Michael) Kandl, Otto Nelson, Steve Vorlob, Marty Vorlob, Mary Vorlob; grandchildren; great grandchildren; silblings, Alan (Pam) Chaney, Rick (Kathy) Chaney, Connie (Doug) Hotvedt; sister-in-law, Deanna Chaney; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, William, brother, Ron, and great grandson, Tyrice Creed.
A committal service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, Hwy 32.
