A 67-year-old Waterford man faces 16 felony counts of possession of child pornography after a search warrant was executed at his home last month.

Each count against Gregory P. Frank carries a maximum fine of $25,000 and 25 years in prison. With an additional three years of possible confinement on each charge, Frank faces a total of 448 years in prison and fines of more than $1.6 million.

According to the criminal complaint:
Investigators with the Racine County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Racine County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant Feb. 21. Investigators seized DVDs, thumb drives, SD cards, laptop and desktop computers, cell phones, digital cameras, tablets and a VHS videotape.

Frank was out of town at the time of the search warrant. He was located and arrested March 12.Hundreds of images of child pornography were located on two laptop computers and a tablet that depicted children from toddler through age 18, the complaint states. Investigators estimated that more than 500 images of probable child pornography were located between the three devices.

Court records indicate that Frank will be back in Racine County Circuit Court on March 22 for an 8:30 a.m. preliminary hearing.
