RACINE COUNTY, WI — Traffic heading S in Racine County is experiencing significant delays after a crash was reported in the I-94 construction zone Wednesday morning.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, a crash in traffic on I-41/94 southbound near 7 Mile Road has resulted in traffic backups in excess of three miles approaching the scene.

Motorists should try an alternate route to avoid these delays, traffic officials said. We will update this story as more information becomes available.
