Racine Children’s Theatre presents eight performances with Jason the Jesting Juggler this weekend at the Racine Theatre Guild, 2519 Northwestern Ave. Jason Huneke has performed all over the world, including an appearance on “America’s Got Talent.” All seats are just $6 for this great show for the whole family. Spell it out. Think you can spell? Check out the Racine Literacy Council’s 20th Annual Adult Spelling Bee this Thursday evening at Roma Lodge, 7130 Spring St., Mount Pleasant. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the teams will start spelling at 6 p.m. The audience can get into the act with a spelling challenge. There is also a silent auction and a raffle. The $20 admission includes dinner and music by Night Wing. The event benefits the Literacy Council’s adult learning programs. For reservations, call 262-632-9495.
Gala for CAS. There’s dinner, auctions and shopping for the Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin Friday night at the Racine Marriott Hotel, 7111 Washington Ave., Mount Pleasant. New place for veggies. The new Great Lakes Winter Farmer’s Market debuts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Milaeger’s expo greenhouse, 4838 Douglas Ave., Caledonia. The new market will include hundreds of products, including fresh seasonal produce, artists, furniture, gifts and more.
