Highway prep work for I-94 is rolling right along to support what will become the Foxconn campus in Racine County. Businesses that utilize County Highway KR, State Highway 11 and County Highway K are about to be affected in the areas in and around the northbound exit and entrance ramps to Interstate 94 West (or northbound).

A meeting Thursday for businesses in the area will address temporary business signage during for the I-94 North-South Reconstruction Project.

Here’s what the I-94 project entails.

WisDOT will host two separate business meetings and a brief presentation will be given at the start of each meeting. The project team will be on hand to assist each business in completing its Temporary Business Sign Permit Application, including recommendations for sign locations.

The two Thursday sessions will begin at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. They are scheduled to last two hours each. The meetings will be held at the Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive.

Those attending are asked to confirm their attendance by contacting Athena Lorono, I-94 North-South Construction Public Involvement Specialist at (262) 758-9501 or via email at Athena@devorpr.com.
