Village Of Mt. Pleasant Police Department officers say they arrested a Kenosha woman Tuesday morning for her fourth operating while intoxicated.
Kimberly Shefchik, 47, was taken into custody at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday after an MPPD officer said they spotted her driving erratically on Meachem Road just north of Highway KR.
According to a press release from Mount Pleasant police Sgt. Shawn Lueke, Shefchik was seen swerving while she drove southbound.
“The officer observed the vehicle swerve onto the shoulder just missing the ditch,” she wrote.
Shefchik was taken into custody and transported to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary’s for a legal blood draw before being released into the custody of a responsible party.
According to Lueke, Shefchik could face a felony charge for OWI 4th offense as well as charges for having open intoxicants, and unsafe lane deviation.
Online court records do not indicate when Shefchik will be in court.
