A woman driving a car at speeds of over 100 mph when she clipped a semi tractor-trailer at about 8:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7 on Interstate 94 in Racine County, according to scanner reports.

A Wisconsin State Patrol officer was trying to stop the woman for speeding, but the woman tried to elude the officer. Weaving in and out of traffic, the state trooper continued to pursue the woman who was driving a black Chrysler 200.

During the pursuit, the woman clipped a semi in the southbound lane near Highway 11. The driver almost lost control of her car. She then took off again, according to scanner reports.

The trooper continued to chase the woman into Kenosha County. Deputies with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department also joined in the chase.
