Tour casting was announced Feb. 14 on Broadway World for the popular new musical “SIX.” Among the names appeared Khaila Wilcoxon’s, a graduate of Indian Trail High School and Academy. She will be portraying Catherine of Aragon.

Wilcoxon graduated from ITHSA in 2014 before starting her college journey at UW-Stevens Point, where she graduated in 2018.

Since then, Wilcoxon has been seen on Broadway in “Ruben and Clay’s First Annual Christmas Carol Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion Show” and Tony award-winning “Hadestown.”

SIX The Musical

“SIX” is a musical about the six wives of Henry the Eighth who have started a girl group together and compete for the coveted lead singer role. In fourth-wall-breaking fashion, the audience gets to decide who wins by volume of their applause after every queen has presented their case through energetic solo numbers.

Each queen is inspired by real life pop stars, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lily Allen and Adele, according to Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the creators of “SIX.”

On Feb. 16, Wilcoxon took to TikTok to share the audition and casting process with her 29,000 plus followers. In her video, she shared a photo of herself crying with the caption “Got the call,” followed soon after by one of her posing confidently with the caption “See y’all soon.”

“SIX” will play in Chicago at the CIBC Theatre from March 29 to July 3. Tickets can be purchased at broadwayinchicago.com.
