What motivated you to run for office?
The prevailing uncertainty in the community, the diminishing state of my cherished school, and the lack of unity among residents spurred me to transition from merely acknowledging these challenges to actively seeking solutions. I resolved to play a role in addressing the communication breakdown and fostering a sense of togetherness, with the aim of revitalizing Raymond’s quaint village back into the closely connected and nurturing community I recall from my youth. My aspiration is to guarantee that forthcoming students receive the same outstanding, secure, and enriching educational experience that I was privileged to have.

Have you ever held political office before?
No

What years did you hold that political office?
N/A

What is the most important issue you want to tackle that is within the capacity of your position if you are elected? (No more than 300 words please.)
Establishing a secure school administration and faculty is paramount to addressing key issues, notably the academic success of our students. Upon securing suitable staffing levels, I recommend improving the learning environment. This entails renovating the current building to create a secure, compliant, and inviting environment that prioritizes the well-being of the staff, community, and students.

What would success look like if you could address that issue in the way you think it would best be addressed? (No more than 300 words please.)
Success materializes in diverse forms, and the recent hurdles experienced by the Raymond community have left a mark on its infrastructure. These challenges, while intimidating, hold potential for advancement. In my perspective, success depends on fostering collaboration, active listening, empathy, and receptiveness to all perspectives, concepts, and sentiments within the community. Through a collective effort to address pivotal issues, we can uplift community spirit, thereby enriching our capacity to educate.

How do you propose paying for the resources needed to make it happen? (No more than 300 words please.)
The budget needs to be reviewed by the School Board as a team to create a cohesive plan that aligns with the academic requirements of the school and is communicated faithfully to the community.

Given the diverse needs of students in Racine County, how do you propose to address the challenges in the education system, including funding, teacher retention, and ensuring equitable opportunities for all students?
The school board, working collaboratively, will devise a strategy to appoint a superintendent, preferably with a financial background. It is our collective responsibility to the community to carry out our duties diligently and establish a foundation that effectively bolsters academic success for both students and the community. I value this team endeavor and am committed to offering my skills and ideas whenever necessary.
