Obituary for Frank J. Kotajarvi
August 23, 1942 – March 30, 2024
Frank J. Kotajarvi of Caledonia, Wis., was born Aug. 23, 1942, in Schmiedeberg, Germany, and was born to eternal life on March 30, 2024, at the age of 81.
Frank was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and was a true American patriot.
He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Erin (Paul) Vrchota; son, Matthew (Megan) Kotajarvi; three grandchildren, David (Tiffani) Swette, Alex (Summer) Swette, and Marissa (Sean) Hansen; and four great-grandchildren, Wilson, Nickolas, Miliana and Nathan. He is also survived by his niece, Tonya Kotajarvi-Edwards. He was loved by many other relatives and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his mom, Christine; dad, Reuben; and brother, Pete.
Services
Interment with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on April 18 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
