Caledonia, WI — A 36-year-old man is dead, a 38-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries and an investigation is underway following an early morning traffic crash Nov. 1.
The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. when a white VW Jetta traveling southbound on N. Green Bay Road near Louise Lane went off the roadway and struck a tree, according to Caledonia Police.
Anthony Price, 1640 Kearney Ave., Racine, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Jonathan Vaughn, 1436 Lincoln St. Racine, sustained serious injuries and was flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital, 9200 W Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee.
Caledonia Police are investigating the incident. They were assisted at the scene by the Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol Traffic Reconstruction Unit.
