The Racine County Eye nonprofit section is here! The page receives thousands of views every month. We typically have more than 50,000 pageviews/per month from our readers and over 100,000 pageviews.

Because so many nonprofit organizations use Facebook, we partnered with an ad platform called Friends 2 Follow. This makes your organization’s Facebook page into a live ad on our site. So whey you post on that page, it updates the ad. This page is only open to nonprofits, but we’ll likely make a page for schools and churches as well.

What’s the cost?

The cost for this is $10/month or $120/year for each URL. This space is limited to 35 organizations. They will also be displayed on the front page. We wanted to make this page super affordable. Why? Because we want you to say yes.

Why are we doing this?

Racine County Eye loves to help bring the community together and we can’t help fix a world we know nothing about. So this page allows nonprofits to do just that.

Why would you want to do this?

You are already producing the content, but Facebook allows only 1.2 percent of your audience to see your ads if you don’t pay for a boost. If you do boost that post, it’s costing about $14 per 1,000 impressions. Racine County Eye — which has more than 100,000 impressions. We attract a local audience and you are supporting a local business.

OK, so I’m in! What do I need to do?

  1. Submit payment using the Paypal account below.
  2. We’ll have your account set up within 48 hours.
  3. All we need is for you to accept the Facebook permission that we send you via email. Then all you need to do is post on your Facebook page.
