Obituary for Nancy Ellen Goodwin

Mrs. Nancy Ellen Goodwin, 89, passed away peacefully at Parkview Gardens on April 9, 2024.
She was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 3, 1934, the daughter of the late George and Esther (née Schneider) Zunker. She graduated from Rufus King High School in 1952.
Nancy lived in the Milwaukee and Kenosha area until 1977 before moving to Nevada. She moved back to Wisconsin in 2021.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Mallwitz of Caledonia; granddaughters, Jacqueline (Jeremy Malley) Goodwin of Racine, and Joanna (Scott) Maslanka of King, N.C.; son-in-law, Michael Lussier; and brother-in-law, Marvin Heuser. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Goodwin; daughters, Barbara Goodwin and Linda Lussier; sister, Eleanor Heuser; and her brother, George Zunker.
Services
A private service will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials in Nancy’s name have been suggested to the charity of one’s choice.
Nancy’s family wishes to thank the staff at Parkview Gardens and at Heartland Hospice, who lovingly cared for their “Sassy Nancy.”
