The City of Racine Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) and the Racine Arts Council announce sales of the 2019 Main Gallery Chair-i-ties calendar. Main Gallery is Racine’s premier arts program, managed by PRCS, offering summer employment for youth ages 14 – 18. The 2018 program is funded through PRCS, a grant from Racine Unified School District, and a City of Racine Community Development Block Grant.
The Main Gallery Photography program designs annual collaborative projects to sell at the Main Gallery “Chair-i-ties” Auction at the end of the summer. This year, the group selected a Downtown Racine themed calendar comprised of photos taken from unique perspectives of Belle City. All proceeds from sales will fund future Main Gallery programs.
A very limited number of calendars are available for purchase at the cost of $10 each at the PRCS office, located at 800 Center Street, room 127. For more information or to contribute to this unique program, contact Jason Mars, Recreation Supervisor, at (262) 636-9454.
