There’s shadow man, the little girl in the white dirty dress, the woman in the white dress named Eleanor, and a little girl in a red dress, then there’s John who is a crusty character —Â Brossman’s Bar, 3241 County Highway H, in Franksville, is haunted, according to employees, the owner of the bar and some of its customers.
Ron Brossman’s grandparents bought the property in 1899, but he knows the property existed even back in the 1840s before Wisconsin was a state. Helen, Ron’s mother, grew up there and so did he. Before it was a bar, the property had served as a stagecoach stop and hotel.
Growing up, Ron always saw strange things in the house and Cassie Christoplis and her mom Sue, had quite a few stories to tell. We’ll be featuring several of them throughout the month of October.
The Racine Paranormal Investigators conducted their first investigation at that tavern a few months ago. Diane Christensen, Ron Helmick, Katie Schurman, Scott Baer and Zac Baer say they have evidence of the spirits.
