The Washington Park Panthers vocal ensemble continued the tradition Saturday of singing holiday carols at the Dinner with Santa in Sturtevant.

Held every year the first Saturday in December, the mostaccioli dinner has grown into one of the community’s best loved events, and the Park choir has been part of it now for four years running.

“We mark it on our calendars every year,” said Heather Lopp, choir director. “We’re excited that Sturtevant continues to think of us.”

In addition to dinner and carols from the choir, there was also a raffle featuring a variety of donated baskets and Christmas wreaths. Case High School students were in the hallway helping youngsters with some really cute crafts, too.
