Ronald E. Davidson, 74, passed away Saturday May 14, 2016 at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Ronald was born in Racine on Feb. 19, 1942, son of the late Lester and Ida (nee: Petersen) Davidson.
Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Army for twenty years, before retiring as a staff sergeant E6. He also was employed with the City of Racine Transit Department for twenty-three years until his retirement in 2003. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing, making jewelry, making model cars and boats, and collecting sports memorabilia. Above all, he loved his time spent with family.
Ron will be dearly missed by his children, Michael Augerbright (Sue Martino), their children Holly Augerbright, Derek Augerbright, and Linda Kajune, Deborah (Steven) Kennamer and her son, Michael Kennamer; Ronnette Davidson (Jeff Danhof) and her children Aiden Griffes and Cecelia Danhof; brother and sisters, Dennis Roslansky, JoAnn (Rocky) Rockwell, Rebecca (Kevin)Stellman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ron was also preceded in death by his longtime companion, and girlfriend, Laura Dickerson, brother, Steven Roslansky and sister, Barbara Petersen.
Memorials services with Full Military Honors will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover, Friday May 27, 2016, 10 a.m., with Rev. Holly Anderle officiating.
