Kurt Wahlen was let go of his Village Administrator position as of today, July 11, 2016. After a closed sesson, the Village Board vote was unanimous to a severance agreement, waiver and release. Kurt Wahlen agreed to a voluntarily resignation from his appointment as Village Administrator. In consideration of his voluntary resignation the Village agreed to provide him with 3 month severance pay until October 11, 2016. He also agreed to confer with the Village after July 11th by responding to reasonable inquires from the Village.

Prior to going into closed session, Trustee David Degroot made a motion to prevent public comment. The motion was voted down.
