Racine County is once again under a heat advisory. The National Weather Service issued the alert early Saturday morning; it begins at noon Saturday and expires at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to hit 90 or higher. When combined with sun and high humidity, heat indexes will most likely hit triple digits again. The culprit is a warm front that will stick around through Sunday night when a weak cold front arrives with less humid air.
“It will be hot again Sunday even though a weak cold front will move across from the west,” the advisory reads. “The front will bring less humid air.”

There is good news on the horizon, though. NWS predicts a return to more normal temperatures next week with drier air.
