To the surprise of virtually no one, Congressman and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan cruised to an easy primary win over Republican challenger Paul Nehlen.

WISN 12 News listed the results with 224 of 341 precincts reporting:

Ryan: 38,370, or 84 percent
Nehlen: 7,369, or 16 percent

Ryan will face either Tom Breu or Ryan Solen. They are the Democrats vying for a chance to remove Ryan from the congressional seat he’s held since 1998.

Tom Breu is from Ryan’s hometown of Janesville, and Ryan Solen, 38, is a war vet from Mount Pleasant,

As of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday results for the Democratic primary were not yet final. Solen was leading Breu 9,749 to 7,123, respectively, with 254 precincts reporting.
