Police: Woman Picked Up High School Students For Sex
Rachel Lang

A Racine woman is charged with having sexual contact with two teenagers, after videos of the incident were posted to Facebook.

Rachel E. Lang, 36, is charged with second-degree sexual assault of a child under age 16 and sexual intercourse with a child, for alleged actions with two different boys on Dec. 1.

According to the criminal complaint, people contacted police on Dec. 2 after discovering the video which showed the two teenagers engaging in sexual activities with an adult woman.

Police spoke with Lang on Thursday, and she reportedly admitted to the actions on the video. She said she knew one of the boys’ uncles, and that she had been corresponding with one of them on Facebook. The boy asked her if she would want to pick him up so they could hang out. She said that on Thursday she picked up him and two other boys, and brought them back to her home.

She went into her bedroom with the boys, and said the sexual contact – and the video recording – happened in there. The complaint states she had “researched the law” about having sex with a 17-year-old boy, and “was under the impression that it was legal or at least it was not a big deal.”

The charge related to the 15-year-old boy is a felony, for which she could be sentenced to as many as 25 years of initial confinement and 15 years extended supervision, or a $100,000 fine. The charge related to the 17-year-old boy is a misdemeanor, punishable by a $10,000 fine or nine months in jail or on probation.

Racine County Court Commissioner Robert Goepel set a $750 cash bond on Dec. 9 for Lang, who is in custody at the Racine County Jail. A preliminary hearing has been set for 9 a.m. Dec. 15.
