UPDATE 10:25 a.m.: Officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department have released the name of the man who died in the crash as Steven Stitch, 31, a resident of Racine County.

ORIGINAL STORY: A man is dead following a one-car crash that happened early Friday morning at County Highway G at 43rd Street in the Town of Raymond.

A witness to the crash called 911 at 2:40 a.m. and the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, Raymond Fire and Rescue, and the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene. That person reported seeing the car speeding at about 90 mph at the time of the roll over crash.

The driver, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are unsure of whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The man’s name is not being released until relatives can be notified.
