A 30-year-old Racine man was stabbed in a tavern in the 2500 block of Durand Avenue early Monday morning.

He was stabbed while trying to break up a fight between the patrons. Taken to Ascension-All Saints Hospital, the man was treated for non-life threatening injuries to his arm, according to a press release by the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

The suspect, who fled before police arrived, is still at large. Mount Pleasant Police do not believe the public is at risk at this time. However, they are still investigating the case.
