A man from Mount Pleasant, who happens to be a Chicago Bears season-ticket holder and a Green Bay Packer fan,  has filed a lawsuit against the Chicago Bears and the NFL for the right to wear the gear of his choosing, according to a story by Patch.

Russell Beckman’s passion for wearing his Green Bay Packer gear during on-field pregame warmup sessions at Soldier Field has been a long-standing tradition. He’s been a Bears season-ticket holder for 14 years. But a “no opposing team” gear policy quashed that tradition last year.

That’s when Beckman decided to file a lawsuit in a Federal Court in Chicago.

According to Patch:

“Beckman has redeemed his season-ticket reward points to hang out on the sidelines while the teams warm up before home games for the past three NFL seasons. During the 2014 and ’15 seasons, he wore Green Bays Packers attire without the Bears objecting, the complaint said.”
