RACINE COUNTY, WI — At just after 5 p.m. on Nov. 13, drivers in northern Racine County got some welcome news — Highway 32 has finally been re-opened to traffic. The opening restores Racine County’s easternmost route to-and-from Oak Creek.

The road closure had been on our list of Patch’s six most problematic construction projects of 2019. When Highway 32 reopened, the Caledonia Police called it “magical.”

Drivers will notice a few new changes to the intersection – most notably a new traffic light just north of 6 Mile Road.
