Obituary for Josie Navarro

August 31, 1935 — April 25, 2024

Josie Navarro, 88, traded her earthly angel wings for her heavenly angel wings peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

She is survived by her sons, Martin (Valerie) Navarro of Racine, Steve (Vanessa) Rodriguez of Killeen, Texas; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and dear friends.

Services

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 2 at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave., with Rev. Thomas Vathappillil officiating. Inurnment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Mass.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Oakridge Care Center, Union Grove, for their love and support given to Josie and her family.
