Join Us on GivingTuesday!

What are you doing on Tuesday, November 29? That day is GivingTuesday—a global day of giving where people all over the world come together to support important work in their communities.

This year, Racine County Eye is participating in GivingTuesday! Our goal is to raise $10,000 for our Unlocking Racine project, a year-long series around the housing crisis in Racine County. This project seeks to raise funds to pay for writers —but we’ll only reach that goal through the kindness and generosity of people like you. Will you help?

That means we only need 400 of our 100,000 readers to make a donation of at least $25.

Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Add GivingTuesday to your calendar.
  • Donate to our community news fund – you don’t have to wait until November 29!
  • Follow us on Facebook. We’ll share updates and stories throughout GivingTuesday day about our project.
  • Spread the word by telling your friends, family, and coworkers why you’re passionate about the Racine County Eye’s Unlocking Racine project. Then, invite them to join you in making a difference.

We’re only able to provide journalism that serves because of supporters like you. I hope you’ll join us on GivingTuesday!

P.S. Contributions to this project are tax-deductible through our fiscal sponsorship from the Local Media Foundation.
